Headed into Week 12

The first trimester is almost over!  I am looking forward to getting back to work and into a routine.  Kent and I are getting really excited for our appointment on Friday.  I can't wait to have the first ultrasound.  It's hard to believe that we have already completed 3 months of this pregnancy!  Time flies!

Here is a bit of information on Week 12:

Baby's now the size of a plum!
As you move into the second trimester, baby shifts into the growth and maturation stage. After weeks in the critical development stage, almost all of her systems are fully formed.

Week 10

I am now 10 weeks into this pregnancy.  I am not quite showing yet, although I find my pants are getting a bit snug in the waist.
I am still feeling sick at times, but am getting through it thanks to my afternoon naps.  I look forward to the next few weeks as I finish up this first trimester.  I am almost done with my last two classes-which can not come soon enough!
I still don't think the pregnancy has hit Kent yet.  But, he did make his first "Daddy decision" when we purchased a new Ford Edge.  It will be perfect for a car seat and the other necessary baby things I'm sure will pile up in the car!  I love it.

Here is a bit of baby information:

Baby's now the size of a prune!
With bones and cartilage starting to form and vital organs beginning to function, baby is making major progress. Body length will almost double in the next three weeks, and arm joints are now working. (Soon, legs will start working too.)
